- Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects.

- Minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in qualifying examination.
B.Tech Lateral Entry:
- 3-year Diploma in Engineering OR B.Sc. with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
