Course overview
Master of Surgery is a postgraduate medical program focused on advanced surgical education, clinical practice, and operative training. The course is designed for medical graduates who wish to specialize in surgical disciplines after completing MBBS.
The duration of the program is generally 3 years and admission is based on qualification in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.
The curriculum provides detailed knowledge of surgical procedures, patient management, pre-operative and post-operative care, emergency handling, and clinical decision-making.
Students receive practical exposure through hospital training, operation theatre practice, case studies, and supervised surgical procedures in specialties such as General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Obstetrics & Gynecology.
