Admission Eligibility

  • Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent in the science stream from a recognized board, with Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate for general category and 45% marks for reserved category candidates (SC/ST).
  • English must have been studied as one of the compulsory subjects in the 10+2 examination.
  • Candidates should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Modules

The Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is a two‑year program designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical skills in pharmaceutical sciences. In the first year, students study Pharmaceutics I, Pharmaceutical Chemistry I, Pharmacognosy, Biochemistry and Clinical Pathology, and Human Anatomy and Physiology.

The second year focuses on Pharmaceutics II, Pharmaceutical Chemistry II, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Hospital and Clinical Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence. The program emphasizes dispensing of medicines, patient counseling, and regulatory aspects of pharmacy practice.
